The Story Behind the Xanadu house
Xanadu Productions was formed in the fall of 1999 by a group of then college students, most of whom were finishing up their education (that term is loosely used) at Penn State University. Together, the made the independent short film, RESPIRATION.

The company took their name one night while watching the great CITIZEN KANE. While watching the film, the group thought the name of Charles Foster Kane's castle, 'Xanadu,' had a certain ring to it. In addition, the grand, awe-inspiring greatness that it never became seemed like a good analogy to their young careers. The rest is history, or not so much history as it is a boring story. But...an interesting one none the less.

Other Tid-bits...
The residence of the house have a tremendous amount of experience. Amoung them, they've worked with film, video, and animation. They've worked on shorts, features, and documentaries. They've worked on both coasts (yes L.A. and New York) as well as the up and coming film hub of State College, Pa. The worked for independents as well as studios (Disney...ooohhhh!) All in all, they're really a fun group of people who, at the end of the day, can shoot a damn good story.
